What we collect & what we don't.

This site is operated by Charterhand LLC (Charterhand), based in Anchorage, AK. When this policy says “we” or “us,” that's who we mean. When it says “you,” that's anyone visiting charterhand.com or contacting us through it.

Two things, and we'll be plain about both:

• Things you give us on the contact form. Name, email or phone, and the message you type. Anything you enter into a live demo (chat messages, party size, dates) stays in your browser unless you finish a real booking.
• Anonymous traffic data. We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and rough geography without setting tracking cookies or tying anything to you personally. No fingerprinting, no ad networks, no resale.

We do not buy data about you from anyone else, and we do not run retargeting or advertising pixels.

• Form messages are used to write you back. That's it. We don't add you to a newsletter, we don't share your email, and we don't sell anything to a list.
• Analytics tells us things like “the pricing page got 412 views last month” so we can improve the site. It doesn't tell us anything about you specifically.

Three providers ever touch your data, and only for the job they do:

• Vercel hosts the site and handles the analytics described above. Vercel's privacy policy.
• Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox. Resend's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site. Google may log the request IP for anti-abuse, per their standard policy.

We never share your information with anyone else without your permission, except as required by law.

We don't set tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-less by design. Your browser may store small, technical bits of data (like remembering you closed a banner), but nothing that follows you across other sites.

You can ask us, in plain English, to:

• Tell you what we have on file for you.
• Send you a copy of it.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete it.
• Stop using it for anything except what the law requires.

Email levi@charterhand.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in California or the EU, your local rules grant you these by name (CCPA, GDPR) — they all amount to the same thing.

This site isn't directed at kids under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we've received data from a child, let us know and we'll delete it.

We host on encrypted infrastructure (HTTPS site-wide, encrypted at rest). Form messages live in our email inbox under standard email security. No system is 100% — but we take basic, real precautions and we'll tell you promptly if anything we hold for you is compromised.

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll update the date at the top. The current version is always at this URL.
